About

Welcome to the About Me section of Ini’s Diary, a space where I share not only my professional journey as an educator, but also the personal experiences, lessons, challenges, and growth that continue to shape who I am both inside and outside the classroom.

My name is IniOluwa Aremu, and I am a UAE Certified Teacher, educator, student engagement specialist, educational leader, and passionate advocate for meaningful, student-centered learning. Over the years, I have worked across diverse educational environments in Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates, supporting students from different backgrounds, learning abilities, and educational needs.

My journey in education began with a deep passion for helping students feel seen, heard, supported, and capable. Through my experiences as a classroom teacher, learning support educator, grade-level leader, and a doctorate in education student, I have come to understand that education is about far more than academics, it is about confidence, growth, inclusion, emotional support, and creating opportunities that allow learners to thrive.

Throughout my career, I have taught elementary learners, supported students with special educational needs, guided English language learners, led teaching teams, analyzed student performance data, and developed instructional strategies that improve engagement and learning outcomes. I strongly believe that every child learns differently, and my approach to education has always centered around personalization, compassion, and creating safe learning environments where students can grow with confidence.

Currently based in Dubai, UAE, I continue to expand my knowledge and impact through educational leadership, online tutoring, curriculum support, and ongoing academic research. I am also pursuing advanced studies in education, with a strong interest in inclusive teaching strategies and innovative approaches that make learning more accessible and effective for students worldwide.

But beyond the professional titles and achievements, Ini’s Diary was created because I wanted a space to share the real side of teaching and growth, the moments people do not always see behind the classroom doors. The long days, emotional challenges, breakthroughs, lessons learned, moments of self-doubt, victories, resilience, and personal transformation that come with dedicating your life to education.

This blog is deeply personal to me because it reflects both my passion and my journey. Here, I share authentic stories about teaching, online learning, leadership, personal growth, balancing life as an educator, navigating challenges abroad, and finding purpose through every season of life.

My goal is to inspire teachers, encourage parents, support students, and connect with people who understand that growth often happens through the struggles we overcome. Whether you are an educator, parent, student, aspiring teacher, or simply someone passionate about learning and personal development, I hope this platform becomes a place where you feel encouraged, understood, and empowered.

Thank you for being part of this journey.

Real stories. Real struggles. Real growth.
